T.I.G.E.R. -
Teacher's Instructional Graphics Educational Resource is a collection of images, animations, and other files that thumbnailwere custom-created by the distance education graphics staff for our distance learning instructors and courses. These are made available through TIGER for use by teachers everywhere.


Advanced Functions and Modeling (AFM) website -
This web site provides North Carolina teachers with supplementary materials for the teaching of Advanced Functions and Modeling. Materials were developed or identified through the Educator-on-Loan positions in the mathematics department of the North Carolina School of Science and Mathemtics.


Algebra 2 website -
Lessons designed for ninety-minute block Algebra 2 classes developed through Distance Learning collaborations with Algebra 2 teachers in North Carolina and teachers in the Mathematics Department of NCSSM. These lessons directly address the state curriculum and the End of Course test and are based in the real world, use concepts of mathematics modeling, and require access to a graphing calculator by every student.


Learn More-Teach More, American History website -
Learn More-Teach More is a project to enhance American History teachers’ content knowledge and systems of delivery. It contains one hundred brief videotaped presentations by area university and museum scholars, with accompanying ancillary materials, providing teachers from the five partnering LEAs in-depth perspectives on various American history topics thumbnail
